Dr. Brian M. Alva 

Dr. Brian Alva received his bachelor’s degree from the University of La Verne, after graduating San Dimas High School. Dr. Alva received his doctoral degree and training from Indiana University and graduated with honors along with externships at a surgical eye center and VA hospital in Florida. Dr. Alva enjoys working with pediatrics, specialty contacts, and eye disease. He has a passion for medical optometry and routinely preforms diabetic eye exams and emergency eye exams. 
Dr. Alva currently resides in Covina, CA with his wife, Grace, and two children. Dr. Alva is also certified to treat eye diseases including conjunctivitis, iritis, glaucoma, corneal ulcers, foreign body removal, dilation and irrigation of blocked drainage ducts. He has received Doctor of the Year award 2018. Dr. Alva is a member of the American Optometric and California Optometric association, San Gabriel Optometric Society, Scleral lens Society,  the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, and the National Glaucoma Society. In his free time Dr. Brian Alva enjoys playing with his children and watching college football, hockey, basketball, and baseball.
